| I am sure that you all know by now that I am terrible as it pertains to this Xanga posting thing. However, I find it important to let everyone know that my wife, family, and I are moving at the end of June to Clarksburg, West Virginia. I hear it a nice place. Let me know what you think! | | |
| Hello folks! What do you think? My beautiful wife helped me pick out a layout for my Xanga site that fits me well. I love gummy bears! Yes, that's right. I love gummy bears. Hope you enjoy the layout as much as I will, because I have no idea where it came from. Everything is going well here in Cambridge. Kettle are doing extremely well, we have had almost every location covered everyday. I have a volunteer who has taken a certain location everyday, all day, from Nov. 17 thru Dec. 23. Now that I also have responsibility for Kent & Queen Anne's Counties in Maryland, we are going to introduce Kettles to those counties(at least Kent for now) for the first time ever next week. It is going to be awesome. I get so overwhelmed at the coolness of opportunities that God affords almost everyday. It is so much fun to play an integral role in helping communities become better. I believe that the Salvation Army has that ability and as we strive to DO THE MOST GOOD we will get even better. As long as God gets the glory, it's all good. My boy David is still crazy, and my little girl Lydia is getting more and more spoiled everyday. Mom is going to have to handle the discipline, because I am going to want to let her get away with everything (to a degree, of course). She is so cute! I hope to see you all soon. Many blessings until then! Oh yeah, here is a picture of one of the coolest dudes ever. It's my funny picture of my dad. I hope your laugh as much as I did. DAD, YOU'RE THE MAN! Richard

| Hello all! If you haven't checked out the pictures of my little girl on Ruth's site, then you have missed out. It is a lot of fun being "Dad." I can't say it enough, "I AM LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT, EVEN THE DIAPER CHANGES!" Ok, I'll add one. This one is my favorite! Ruth is doing fine, she is such a good Mom! David is doing great in football. He reminds me of Rudy (from the movie Rudy.) He is playing on a team with sixth and seventh graders. He is a fourth grader. Although he is the smallest kid on the team, I believe he is one of the few players on the team that has the real heart to play the game! He has the respect of the team because he has the "heart" to play football. As I watch him play, my heart explodes with pride. One kid on the team won't talk to David, because David set him on his butt. They said, "Ooooh, David cracked X! (X is Xzavier, he is one the best players on the team.) It was awesome! Anyways, you can read the humility I have as it pertains to my kids. Things at the corps are going well. We have some extremely awesome opportunities ahead, we just have to jump the hoops. I am excited about many of the Soldiers of the Corps stepping up alongside us and getting it done! They are doing a great job. Especially, I couldn't ask for better youth leaders. God is good. He truly takes care of his children. Hope you all are doing fine. Hope to see you soon. Feel free to post comments and give me eprops. I like them and I want to hear from you. Thanks! Blessings, Rick | | |
